Our Story

In 2025, Fearless Fluent was born out of a simple but powerful idea: learning a language isn’t just for children, and it certainly shouldn't be intimidating.

Founder Sarah Pariseau noticed a gap in courses designed specifically for adults. Most programs focused on academic language skills or memorization, leaving out the most important part, helping learners break free from the fear of actually speaking.

Sarah’s own language journey shaped the mission of Fearless Fluent. After struggling with memorization-based French classes in school, she discovered that immersing herself in Polish and Spanish through real-life experiences helped her learn faster and with more joy. This inspired her to create a learning space focused on natural conversation, where grammar is absorbed through practice rather than drills.

What makes Fearless Fluent different is its heart. The classes focus on conversation first, encouraging students to speak without fear in a fun, friendly, and challenging environment. Grammar is practiced naturally through correction and real dialogue, and every lesson balances hard work with playfulness and joy. Fearlessness is not just the name, it’s our promise. Through exposure and support, students learn to overcome embarrassment and build lasting confidence.

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students transform, from hesitantly stuttering and translating every word in their heads to speaking naturally and confidently without a second thought. It's those moments that keep the passion alive.
